Our Web-based series, Cruising USA, is all about getting the real story behind cars. Every week we go out to meet with some typical drivers, asking them what they’re driving and what they like about their vehicles. It’s a great way for us to discover what everyday motorists really think about their rides of choice.
In the fifth episode of our show, we encountered an especially diverse lineup of vehicles. Here’s a quick recap.
2015 Ford Fiesta
The first driver we met was Sarah, from Cyprus, California. Sarah was behind the wheel of a 2015 Ford Fiesta, which she’s had for about a year and speaks very highly of—especially for offering such good gas mileage.
2002 Toyota Tacoma
The next vehicle we learned about was a little bit older, but still in great shape—a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Kimberley. She bought the truck from her dad, and loves it without reservation. She spoke with us about some of the fun adventures she’d had in it, including some wild trips she couldn’t have taken in a smaller automobile.
Kimberley also praised her Tacoma for its reliability—telling us that, as best she could tell, Toyotas are made to last forever.
2012 Kia Sportage
Our next driver was Andy, whose 2012 Kia was turning heads. Andy told us the vehicle was not too big and not too small—that ultimately, it was the perfect car to fit his lifestyle.
Find Your Next Used Car or Truck
One common thread in this episode: Each of the drivers we spoke with told us they did a lot of research before finding their vehicle. Of course, that’s recommended, and one of the best ways you can research potential vehicles is to follow along with Get My Auto: Tune into Cruising USA every week, and make sure you read out blog daily!
